Great write-up in LV City Life Magazine

The Erotic Heritage Museum 3275 Industrial Road 369-6442 www.eroticheritagemuseumlasvegas.com Open Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, noon-10 p.m., closed Monday $15 general admission, $10 for locals, military and seniors, 18-plus Highlights/lowlights: The Erotic Heritage Museum has a little bit of everything, but its main focus is the American sexual revolution, says art director and curator Dorian Gomez. The museum is a mix of art, history, humor and porn, ranging from tasteful to crass. In the main room sits the featured exhibition, which changes every couple of months. Currently, it’s costumes and props from the porn parody Star Wars XXX. The museum is heavy on artifacts but light on interpretation, so it’s more like browsing a collection than signing up for a history lesson. Save for a few timelines and the Wall of Shame, which chronicles misdeeds of various villians, there’s not much reading to be done, so visitors can browse at any pace. Is it visit-worthy? Yes. The museum holds lots of events, as well. http://www.lasvegascitylife.com/sections/news/pockets-history-museums-and-halls-fame-you-might%E2%80%99ve-missed.html

Great turn out for Nicole Daedone's lecture

On Friday July 20th we hosted Nicole Daedone's first Lecture in Las Vegas on the Art of the Female Orgasm. She was a fantastic speaker. Gorgeous, poised, funny, eloquent... she captivated her audience and inspired us all to head home and try the technique!!!! We must have had over 100 people come to the Museum for her talk which was great for increasing awareness of the Museum to a group of people interested in sexuality who had never been to the Museum. Many of them decided to make a donation to our non-profit and tour the Museum and were pleasantly surprised at how big our facility is here and how varied the exhibits were. Nicole also personally signed copies of her book "Slow Sex". Mark, who also helps out at the Museum was excited to meet Nicole and get a signed copy of her book.
It was mentioned that Nicole will be coming back to Las Vegas in October to teach a workshop on her special female orgasm technique called "stroking". So stay tuned and we will let you know details....

Dr. Ted visits the Museum, with his wife Winnie and son Rand...

It's always a pleasure to have Dr. Ted and his lovely wife Winnie visit us at the Museum. Rand, their son, drove them down from San Francisco. Dr. Ted, who just turned 80 years old, is the Founder and Head Curator of the Museum, and also the Founder of the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality which is where most of us at the Museum are doing our Graduate Studies. And Rand is responsible for most of the Audio/Visual content of the Museum, which is extensive! It's hard to believe that the Museum is almost 4 years old! What a lot of energy and effort went into setting up this fabulous 24,000 square feet of artifacts, art, movies and more. And we continue to add to the Museum and make it even better. We now have the Celebrity Sex Scandal footage, kindly sent to us from Vivid Entertainment which features Kim Kardashian, Tila Tequila, Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee, Vince Neil & Janine, Phil Varone, Tom Sizemore and never-seen-before-footage of Jimi Hendrix! It's Hardcore, Uncensored and Uncut! And now it is a part of our Erotic Heritage! Another recent addition is the Star Wars XXX Parody Landspeeder Exhibit which will officially be launched September 1st, coinciding with the Museum's fourth Birthday celebration and the nationwide 'slut walk'. We hope to have some of the porn stars and the crew from Star Wars XXX here that weekend too. Should be a big party! Put it on your calendars!!!!

Nicole Daedone Lecture at the Museum

'Slow Sex' Author Nicole Daedone Brings Orgasmic Meditation to Las Vegas In a Lecture At the Erotic Heritage Museum, Friday July 20th, 8:00pm. This will be a free lecture however admission to the Museum will still apply ($15 per person, unless you are a student, military, local or over 55 yrs, then it is only $10). The Las Vegas Sun just released this news article today, July 12th... "Nicole Daedone founded 'OneTaste', an organization that teaches the practice of OM (Orgasmic Meditation) to singles and couples, in San Francisco in 2004. The company has since expanded activities to LA, San Diego, Austin, New York, and Boulder, Colorado. In her TEDxSF talk 'Orgasm: the Cure for Hunger in the Western Woman,' which has over 200,000 views on YouTube, she explains that OM, short for Orgasmic Meditation, is a simple sexuality practice that two people do together to increase sexual sensation, deepen connection, and take their sex lives to a whole new level. Jay Leno mentioned Nicole's Slow Sex book in his intro on The Tonight Show two weeks ago (06/11/12), find the video here on NBC's website. In his #1 New York Times Bestseller, The 4-Hour Body, Timothy Ferriss calls the OM practice “required education for every man on the planet.” 'OneTaste' and Nicole Daedone have also been covered by The New York Times, TIME Magazine, the New Yorker, NPR, Vanity Fair, abc Nightline, the New York Post, the Daily Mail, the San Francisco Chronicle, 7×7 Magazine, Cosmopolitan UK, and Australian Women's Health Magazine."
